Dublin, such a popular destination with groups whether it be for sporting events, sight seeing, stag and hen parties or university tours.

When thinking of a destination that caters for just about all tastes then Dublin is hard to beat. From the extensive arts and culture, to sporting events and music festivals, Dublin has it all. For group travel, it really is the destination of choice.

Universities, schools, brides and grooms to be, family and friends are all feeling the effects of the economic downturn. These groups are having to be more aware of costs for group travel.

You don’t need to spend a fortune to have a great time in Dublin and Cork - there are lots of things to do, see and experience and we can help you to plan and book the best of them at the cheapest group prices. Many of Dublins top attractions are located within easy access of a large selection fo Dublin hostels.

Somewhat of a hidden gem of a day out is on the Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART) commuter train service which runs right along the coast, so it??™s like a cheap tourist train, with breathtaking views and fabulous places to visit along the route.

One must visit location on the train journey is the pretty fishing village of Howth (rhymes with ???both??™), a twenty minute DART journey along the coast north of Dublin city centre. Howth has a pretty harbour, which is used by both working fishing boats and pleasure craft ??“ but did you know that it also has a beach? Shhh! Don??™t tell anyone, but when you come out of the DART station, walk about 100 meters towards Howth village, take a left then walk down the little alleyway to your left ??“ and you come out on Claremont Beach! It??™s right beside the pier, but you could easily miss it ??“ it??™s a great place to take a stroll, building up an appetite for??¦

Top money saving tip??™s when staying in Dublin hostels
Travelling with a student group is certainly not easy or cheap, so making wise decisions prior to your trip will pay off when you arrive in Dublin or Cork. Planning your itinerary and booking the most important elements of your trip can not only be more cost effective for a group but also less stressful for the group leaders!
Here are some top tips on how you can save your group money for your stay in hostels in Dublin.

In some hostels, your group??™s breakfast is covered so you just have lunches and dinner to think about for your group saving both time and money. Whether your group are busy with itineraries everyday or just taking it easy, wouldn??™t it be great not to have to stress about sorting out lunch or dinners for the whole group? You can organise packed lunches prior to your arrival in some hostels and they will be delivered to the hostel reception for your group to collect in the morning time. Make use of the hostel’s helpful staff. They can often pre-book a local restaurant for your group at discounted group prices. Booking and paying for lunches and dinners in advance means your group saves money, saves time in the precious evenings not having to find a place to accommodate a large group and helps with daily budgets.

Many groups plan their trip to Dublin and Cork and don’t even consider costs of visiting attractions /activities until they arrive. They’re missing all sorts of opportunities to save money. By planning ahead and booking prior to arrival in Dublin hostel you will save a significant amount of money for the group.

Student discounts and other concessions will make a difference to your groups budget. If you are a student group in one of the Dublin hostels, make sure you bring your student cards on your trip. Lots of shops and attractions in Dublin offer student discounts.

Industrial Air Power Ltd is the authorised distributor for Ingersoll Rand Industrial Technologies products throughout Wales and the South West of England. The two companies have made a dramatic shift from being suppliers of equipment to providers of solutions. We are fully conversant with all aspects of air generation and equipped to carry out energy audits on any installed system, regardless of size or manufacturer.

A full system audit includes leak detection, measurement of energy consumption, and flow measurement including pressure, temperature and final air quality.

As utility rates continue to rise and firms continue to look to green initiatives, energy consumption has become a growing concern for manufacturers.

One of the largest energy users within a plant is the compressed air system. Energy recovery provides a cost-effective way for manufacturers to reduce their energy bills while simultaneously benefiting the environment by capturing the thermal energy created through the compression process and putting it to work. Where the heat produced from a compressor can be fully utilised, simple payback periods of less than two years are frequently achieved.

Having already worked with Carbon Trust on a variety of projects, Terram called on its expertise when faced with rising energy costs. The specialist manufacturer of geosynthetic materials, employing 95 staff at its manufacturing plant near Pontypool, worked with Industrial Air Power to eliminate energy inefficiencies and redesign and install a new air compressor system. The result was an industry best in terms of energy usage and savings of ??202,000 per annum. It also produced:

* Energy savings of approximately 11.25 million kWh over five years
* Cost savings of approximately ??1m in five years
* Emission savings of 7,390 tonnes CO2 in the same period
* Payback of approximately 24 months

David Roberts, control engineer at Terram Ltd, said: ???The savings we are seeing now are unbelievable but just as important is the fact that we are reducing our carbon emissions and therefore benefiting the environment.???

Although Terram had already started to investigate the costs for new compressed air systems, it hadn??™t looked at where, when, how much air was being used. Carbon Trust helped it identify this and used Industrial Air Power to design a system to meet its needs.

Having a tailor-made system installed in turn allowed Terram to capitalise on secondary savings such as heat recovery and compressed air leak reduction.

Ongoing monitoring of the fully automated system allows the savings to be quantified. Monitoring also ensures that the focus on savings is maintained and remains a high priority for Terram.

The new compressor system was located into the steam boiler house. This enabled Terram to recover the waste heat generated by the air compressors and use this to raise the temperature of the water in the hot well, which feeds the boiler. Increased water temperature in turn reduces the amount of gas needed to generate steam.

The aggregated savings from the installation of the new system and implementation of the measures identified represented an 11.8 per cent reduction in the site??™s energy consumption and overall a 38.7 per cent reduction in the electrical energy consumption directly associated with the generation of the compressed air.

An annual CO2 saving of 1,214 tonnes has been achieved plus an additional 264 tonnes from a reduction in gas usage due to the heat recovery process.

From monitoring the system, it was calculated that Terram was using on average 85m3/min of compressed air with an efficiency of 8kW/m/min, which equated to 7.2 million kWh per annum. By installing a new compressor set supplied by Industrial Air Power, it was calculated that the efficiency could be improved to 6kW/m3/min. Post-installation monitoring has proved that the new machinery provides an average efficiency of 5.8kW/m3/min ??“ delivering significant savings. The gas savings are on top of this.

The benefits to Terram have been fourfold: a significant reduction in energy costs, the ability to protect plant integrity, reduced maintenance cost and the added benefit of reduced gas consumption from the increased water temperature in the steam boiler hot well.

Installing new Ingersoll Rand two stage fixed speed compressors along with a Nirvana two stage trim compressor, fully automated via a control system provided Terram with primary energy savings. Secondary savings came as a result of the heat recovery process, lower maintenance costs and the leak reduction programme.

The exercise has been successful in achieving reductions of CO2 emissions and the overall costs of supplying the service of compressed air to the business.

A Carbon Trust Wales consultant worked together with Industrial Air Power and Terram engineers providing impartial, independent advice enabling the company to make an informed decision and deliver value for money. Carbon Trust independently validated the energy savings and confirmed that they exceeded Industrial Air Power??™s initial projections.

Through our experience in carrying out hundreds of compressed air audits we have identified the majority of existing compressed air systems include one or more of these deadly sins. This will have and adverse affect on your reliability, productivity and energy consumption.

* System over-pressurisation resulting in increased artificial demand
* Excessive waste through air leakage
* False loading of compressors due to lack of system automation and volume
* Inefficiency caused by cycling fixed output compressors
* Excessive pressure drop

If you would like advice on calculating your savings potential and increasing your company??™s profitability contact Industrial Air Power on 01656 658961, email sales@airpower.co.uk

The VAT free saving on the Acolyte Home & Gifts latest range of shabby chic furniture has been running throughout June and July. Eliminating VAT creates a huge saving especially for larger purchases such as furniture.
The latest addition from Acolyte is their shabby chic furniture range.

Bibby Consulting and Support compliance specialists, respond to the government??™s ‘Red Tape Challenge’.

Reducing red tape for businesses can only be a good thing, compliance specialist Bibby Consulting & Support has said in response to claims that the government’s ‘Red Tape Challenge’ might actually mean more work for companies as opposed to less.

The Business Secretary, Vince Cable, has revealed that many visitors to the ‘Red Tape Challenge’ website have called for existing regulations to be maintained or even increased. The suggestion is that fewer regulations could mean diluted rights and protections, particularly in health & safety.

Although he said the site had been “bombarded” by such messages, Cable insisted that one of the government’s top priorities was to reduce the amount of regulation that small companies and start-up businesses face. But he warned companies: “Please don??™t pretend this is easy.???

Bibby Consulting & Support understands that many regulations are essential to protect businesses and employees but also supports efforts to minimise the amount of complex legislation that companies have to abide by and which has been generated over the years.

Managing Director Michael Slade says: “Clearly, it is in everybody’s interest to have health and safety safeguards within businesses to ensure that all staff members are able to work in a safe environment. This is not in dispute.???

“However, it also needs to be recognised that there is a considerable amount of employment law regulation that does nothing to help businesses work at maximum efficiency and to expand as they become more successful. As long as rights are maintained, we consider the time and effort required to cut down on regulation to be a very worthwhile investment.

Unfortunately however recent reports state that the site currently appears to be used more by members of the public and consumer groups who are expressing a one-sided view that existing regulations should be maintained or more worryingly still, increased. We are strongly urging business leaders to add their own views and ensure that their voices are heard.”

For employment law specialists and health and safety advisors, consult Bibby Consulting & Support http://www.bibbycas.com

FitFlop shoes, sandals and boots they have a higher price point than standard footwear. As a result of this higher price tag, Cloggs.co.uk customers often have lots of questions that they would like answered before they make a purchase. To help aid your decision making process we have brought together all of the most Frequently Asked Questions in one convenient place.

Q. What are the benefits of wearing FitFlops?
A. The FitFlop has an innovative midsole that almost works like a wobble board ??“ they destabilize your feet, forcing your leg and bum muscles to work harder when you walk. This helps to improve your posture, tone your legs and bum and burn more calories than you would do when you walk in normal shoes. Thousands of FitFlop customers have also stated that the improved posture that the shoes force also provides relief from ailments like chronic back pain and sciatica.

Q. What is Microwobbleboard?„? technology?
A. This is the patent-pending technology installed inside the sole of the FitFlop. It is basically three densities of EVA (the heel being thick to absorb shock, the toe area is mid density and the midsole is soft centre). This all aims to create a slightly unstable surface on which to walk. Although you will never notice this, it actually tricks your brain into thinking that your shoes will make you fall over. The brain then corrects your posture and makes your leg and bum muscles work much harder throughout every step, thus giving you a workout while you walk.

Q. Can I work out/ jog/cycle in FitFlop footwear?
A. It is only recommended that you wear FitFlop whilst you walk (hence the companies slogan “Workout While You Walk”). They are biomechanically engineered to make your muscles harder when you walk, not during physical exercise like jogging or sprint cycling. There are other more protective and suitable shoes that you can purchase for such sports activities. That’s not to say that The FitFlop may design some form of exercise shoes in the future though. Cloggs will be sure to be the place to get them, so watch this space!

Q. How long will my FitFlop footwear last?
A. Just like any pair of shoes that you own, how long FitFlop footwear last depends upon how often you wear them, what kind of weather you wear them in and just how you take care of them. We strongly advise against putting any form of footwear in the washing machine, instead to make them last longer carefully hand clean them to make them last longer. It is recommended that you buy a new pair at the start of every year to ensure you benefit from the maximum efficiency of the Microwobbleboard?„? technology. You could even upgrade to a pair of FitFlop Boots.

Q. How long will it take me to get used to wearing FitFlop?
A. For the first two to three days wearing FitFlop sandals for example the FitFlop Positano or FitFlop Floretta may feel slightly strange ??“ after all you will be walking on a slightly unstable surface to make your leg and bum muscles work harder with every step you take. However you will soon get used to it and whether you have chosen sandals, shoes, mules or boots they will be incredibly comfortable. In fact, many people report that they are totally hooked on the sensation of wearing The FitFlop and the forget the fact that they are getting exercise whilst they walk. You will not want to take your FitFlop footwear off your feet.

The beautiful Rydal valley is in the heart of the Lake District.

Ambleside hotels in the Rydal Valley are ideally placed for walking or sightseeing with almost all areas of the Lake District being reachable within an hour??™s drive. There are many walks in the immediate area, from the Fairfield Horseshoe at over 2600 ft to low level walks alongside lakes and tarns in the valley. Several detailed walks in the area can be found our bedroom folders, from books in our two lounges and in local booksellers.

Ambleside has grown over the years to a thriving village that has many wonderful shops, restaurants and cafes. One of the largest garden centres in the UK is 20 minutes walk away, with the Cinema and Park less that 15 minutes. Ambleside hotel and bed and breakfast owners will happily recommend places to eat. Waterhead, which is 30 minutes walk or a 5 minute drive away, is the jumping off place for catching the ferries that will take you to Bowness and Lakeside on Windermere Lake.

Beyond Grasmere lies Keswick, the gateway to the Borrowdale Valley. A more rougher scene is set out before you as this is the setting for many of the highest mountains in the Lakes. Continuing through Borrowdale will take you over Honister Pass and down towards Buttermere and Crummock Water.

To the east lies Ullswater, a beautiful scenic drive over Kirkstone Pass will take you down along its shores and to Aira Force, where the impressive waterfalls thunder down into the lake. To the West is Hawkshead and Coniston, where there are wonderful walks to be had amongst the forests and woods with Coniston Old Man being a popular favourite.

Windermere and Kendal are south of us, with Kentmere Valley providing some lovely walks with a real sense of being tucked away. Around Winster and Newby Bridge can be found some great low level walks which take you away from the crowds and into some beautiful valleys and villages that are hidden from the tourists.

This brief description shows just how ideally placed Ambleside hotels are for walks, shopping and scenic drives within the Lake District.

May Cottage is location close to the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere making it the perfect base to explore all the Southern Lakes. Just one road from the edge of Lake Windermere, an easy stroll to the boat rides, quaint shops and a variety of Bistros, Restaurants and Wine & Tapas Bars. The climatic end to the famous Dalesway Walk - Wonderful, never ending, breathtaking scenic walks and drives. Leisure facilities offer relaxing sauna, steam, jacuzzi, swim & gym areas, with snooker, cafe & bar with Sky T.V. lounge section.

Here is just a small sample of the excellent reviews May Cottage B&B in Bowness-on-Windermere have received on TripAdvisor:

Great B&B accomodation close to the centre of Bowness
5 of 5 stars
Date of review: 4 Apr 2011

Most pleasant welcome received from Sue - the accomodation was ideal for our three night stay - with a very comfortable bed room and fine ensuite. The excellent full English breakfast ,accompanied by Sue’s little talk on the locality and its history, set us up for the day’s walking . The B&B is just a few minutes walk to the centre of Bowness and the pubs and restaurants.
For Rugby League fans, a must is a chat with Len Casey , Sue’s husband and breakfast chef, who can relate anecdotes about his playing career for Great Britain ( some as captain) and England and both Hull clubs.
“A gem of a B&B”
5 of 5 stars
Date of review: 1 Apr 2011

Our first trip to the lakes and first visit to a B&B. We recently married and decided to stay away for a couple of nights.

Sue and Len are great value, warm and welcoming. Place is a gem, you ll be lucky to get availability as the repeat business is a sign of how popular this place is.

Would love to stay again!

“SIMPLY THE BEST”
5 of 5 stars
1 more review of May Cottage by Sallyberisford:

Date of review: 23 Mar 2011

We returned to May Cottage, & yet again received a warm, friendly welcome. Sue goes out of her way to make you feel at ease & welcome. She has stories to tell you & her knowledge of the area is outstanding. She has a brillant sense of humour, ALL the rooms are lovely & clean.
If you stay here it is only a very short walk into Bowness & all the shops, pubs etc.
I mustn’t forget Len, who does a wonderful breakfast each morning, Len to is a chirpy chappy.
Throughly recommed you to stay here.
We felt like part of Sue & Lens extended family. Will definately return.
THANKS BOTH

Why get your torque wrench or torque tool calibrated?

If you care about the reliability of your products, about how well they’re put together, about your customers’ safety. And you care about the reputation of your company. You’ll know that regular torque wrench calibration or torque tool calibration is an essential part of your quality assurance activities. It may even be a legal requirement.

Let’s face it, most torque tools get a lot of abuse in service. Yet most people expect them give reliable, accurate performance day after day, month after month.

Lambda have an established UKAS torque calibration laboratory and have been providing torque wrench calibration services to customers throughout the UK for many years.

Although the work is usually performed in our accredited UK laboratory. If you have a large quantity of air or electrically operated torque tools such as screwdrivers for instance, which are difficult to remove from site, we can perform torque screwdriver calibration on your premises.

Cockermouth, one of the most attractive market towns in Cumbria, sits along the River Derwent eight miles from Keswick.

Set at the confluence of the rivers Cocker and Derwent, Cockermouth is a quaint market town, which although dates back to medieval era the main period of growth was during the Georgian period of the early eighteenth century.

The town is eight miles north-west of Keswick hosts a number galleries, river walks and places of historical interest. Cockermouth is the birth place of poet William Wordsworth.

This gem of a town with ample galleries, river walks and historic Cockermouth Castle. Lots of pubs, specialist shopping and restaurants. Close to Bassenthwaite Lake there are so many other things to do and see in Cockermouth, making it the perfect family location but equally as suited for a romantic weekend. Cockermouth also does not suffer overcrowding of some of the more central Lake District towns and has a choice of Cumbria self catering properties.

In addition to the galleries and places of historical interest the town has a range of traditional stores and some more popular national stores. The town also has a large number of bars and restaurants, many of which are located on the newly re-developed Market Place and Main Street.

An interesting way to explore the town is the Cockermouth Trail. The trail takes you around a fascinating walk through the town??™s history, exploring nineteen of the famous landmarks and some lesser known landmarks of the town. Maps can be obtained from the Tourist Information Centre.

As the main period of growth for Cockermouth was during the Georgian period much of the road layout and buildings were developed during this time; with a great number of buildings retaining their original features, each year to celebrate the Georgian influence, the town holds a Georgian Fair.

The River Derwent flows behind the Main Street and Wordsworth House. There are pleasant footpaths and seats along the banks of the make for a delightful walk along the river. There is also a large car park next to the river with access into the Memorial Gardens and over the bridge into the Main Street. The river can be flowed into the brewery and then into Market Place.

Cockermouth has a number of popular visitor attractions such as: Wordsworth House, The Sheep and Wool Centre, the Castlegate House Gallery, the Kirkgate Centre and Jennings Brewery; which produces ‘real ale’ and has been located in the town centre since 1828. Visitors can also take a guided tour of the brewing facilities and discover more information about this 175 year old process and even sample and take home the finished product from their on-site shop.

All of this makes Cockermouth the ideal place for both a quiet and relaxing Cumbria cottages break and a hectic sight-seeing holiday. Choose from self catering properties including Cumbrian cottages to apartments, lodges and town houses.

Nobel Fire Systems announces Exclusive European Agency Agreement for Stat-X with Fireaway Inc.

Nobel Fire Systems has entered into an exclusive Agency Agreement with Fireaway Inc to manage the distribution and provide technical assistance for its patented Stat-X fire suppression systems throughout Europe.

Ian Bartle, Managing Director of Nobel Fire Systems commented, ???This agreement ensures that Nobel continues forward with its objective and mission of combining science and economics through the provision of environmentally friendly and totally efficient fire suppressant systems???.

The agreement covers the whole of Europe and Nobel is charged with the responsibility for increasing sales through existing distributors while at the same time identifying and capitalising on emerging and potential markets through the development of strategic business relationships.

Fireaway has appointed Nobel Fire Systems based on Nobel??™s impressive track record to date. The Company currently accounts for over 50% of total European sales of Stat-X and has already established the product in a number of newly identified sectors such as the CNC market. It is that kind of entrepreneurial thinking and ability to create niche opportunities that convinced Fireaway that Nobel should be the distributor of choice for the critically important European market.

As well as the proven entrepreneurial skills, Nobel will also bring an abundance of practical product understanding and European application knowledge to the distribution agreement.

Founded in 2005 to commercialise condensed aerosol technology for use in fire suppression systems, Fireaway was searching for a distribution partner that shared its single minded objective to always save lives and property through developing fire fighting strategies. This new Agency Agreement with Nobel Fire Systems has created an opportunity for a long term commercial partnership that will also benefit existing and new customers throughout Europe.

Nobel Fire Systems designs, installs and services a range of fire protection, fire detection and fire suppression systems. Their range of systems are distributed nationally and internationally both from their base in the UK and through a growing network of agents.

For more information on Nobel Fire Systems fire suppression products and services including water mist fire protection, visit http://www.nobel-fire-systems.com/

EverLawn?®, the brand from Artificial Grass (UK) Ltd, is pleased to announce the instant success of their ‘Affordable Landscape?„?’ product.

Answering the needs for large and small areas with a budget in place, the new product ‘Affordable Landscape?„?’ succeeds all expectations. Affordable Landscape is a quality, fibrillated yarn originally designed for Soccer but is now extensively used for leisure and landscape surfaces. The yarn is pre-slit during its making and matures to a fine yarn with everyday use.

Artificial grass installations are expected to increase in the coming years with America already warming to the benefits of this virtually maintenance free lawn option. The initial purchase costs which have in the past put off some home owners, is eradicated due to products such as Affordable Landscape?„?.

With its multitude of uses such as maintenance free lawns for a holiday property or to create the wow factor on a roof terrace, artificial grass is the solution for the modern day property owner, large or small.

The need to conserve water and energy is already extremely important but is almost definitely going to be an even stronger factor in the coming years. Artificial grass eliminates the need for watering and energy and fuels are saved through the need not to have to mow.

So for more information on the appropriately named Affordable Landscape?„? <a href="http://www.everlawn.co.uk"target="_blank">artificial grass product, visit http://www.everlawn.co.uk.

Week off work…check, beautiful vistas required, the English Lake District…check, want to see as much as possible, camper van…check!

With such vast, varied and breathtaking scenery as in the Lake District, it is far too difficult a task choosing one destination for a holiday or short break. Great driving roads+breathtaking scenery=the perfect recipe for camper vans.

Camper vans give you:
The opportunity to visit and experience numerous locations in one trip.
Give you the freedom to stop off when and where you like and for what duration.
No need to worry about there not being a hotel or guest house available in the area.
You are protected from the elements unlike camping.

You??™ll never tire of driving on the roads in the Lake District and Cumbria which has some of the most scenic roads in England. In particular, Hartside Pass which The AA and Top Gear list in their top 10 driving roads in England. Other great driving roads include the Kirkstone Pass, the A591 which passes through Ambleside, Grasmere and onto Keswick and not for the faint hearted Hardnott and Wrynose passes.
VW camper vans are particularly suited to the roads in the Lake District. They are compact and allow you to drive on the stunning, narrow roads which other, larger camper van and mobile homes would not be able to.

Camper vans have seen a renaissance in recent years both in terms of new camper vans and mobile homes but especially the popularity of the classic VW camper van. Their iconic status continues to grow and excite young and old. Driving around in the VW camper van is guaranteed to turn heads and makes a holiday even more special.

A mobile holiday is the ultimate in economical holidaying. The cost of parking up on a camping or caravanning site is nominal and sometimes areas can be found that are free. You can self cater as much of the meals as you wish although the Lake District has some fantastic eating houses that really should be visited.

Many people simply can??™t justify purchasing a VW camper van for themselves due to lack of annual leave and other commitments. A camper van has to be used regularly both for economy and for the wellbeing of the van. The perfect solution is in the form of hiring. VW campervan hire is now available in the Lake District and enables those who want to experience a camper van holiday but that do not want to purchase one. Volkswagen camper van hire is also great for those thinking of purchasing a van to gain knowledge of driving one. Camper van hire in the UK, sorted.

Contributors to the popular Channel 4s Help My House is Falling Down with Sarah Beeny chose EverLawn artificial grass to transform their garden.

During the improvements to Paul and Clare;s home in Essex Sarah Beeny mentioned how good the artificial lawns are and that they should consider having one installed. Until it was mentioned to them Paul and Clare had never even considered artificial grass, but this gave them the opportunity to improve the overall look of their home while having a maintenance free lawn area that looks good for years.

Episode 1 in the first series of Help My House is Falling Down it was evident to viewers Paul and Clare had a challenge on their hands. But the challenge was one they were ready to face.

Watching the episode it is fair to say that the immense work involved for the Essex couple was very nearly a bridge too far.

Thanks to Sarah Beeny, Channel 4 and their team of experienced contractors Paul and Clare succeeded.

Part of the restoration involved the installation of artificial grass. The couple agreed that an area of block paving to the front of their property looked drab and lacked colour. Responding to their request the artificial grass company removed a large area of paving then prepared a base for the synthetic grass and completed the task in just one day. The transformation was an instant success and complemented the new look of the property.

Thanks to Paul and Clars hard work and all involved the couple and their children have a home they can be proud of and a lawn to look good for years to come without the effort thanks to EverLawn.

Fitness footwear brands are on a mission to keep you fit and warm this winter.

The winter we have come to expect for many years in the United Kingdom, proves problematic for those who run, cycle or do any form of outdoor kit fit activity. The severe weather the UK experienced last winter was thought to be an exception with flooding and snow experienced but it seems a very similar picture this year. In November 2010 alone, many parts of the country were flooded and now one of the coldest spells with more snow for decades has descended upon us.

There are many ways in which bad weather inconveniences us and of course, some more important than others but should this bad weather last weeks as last year, the ability to keep active and fit is also hindered. So too is keeping warm. Keeping warm is something each of us can do and none more so than keeping our feet warm. For the fashionista, looking good should not suffer either.

FitFlop have designed a boot that not only keeps feet warm but gives a work out at the same time. Perfect at this time of year when people can?????t get out running or cycling. Whether it?????s enabling an extra work out whilst walking to work or purely just walking around the office, shop floor or factory, the new FitFlop boots look stylish, keeps feet warm and allows you to wear fitness footwear all year round. From another health point of view, they improve posture and provide relief from plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, chronic back pain, sciatica, osteoarthritis, from lower limb oedema, and restless leg syndrome. These problems are often compelled by the cold so it is even more important in the winter months to continue to wear such fitness footwear.

The new leather Fitflop boots offer pull-on practicality, a soft, flexible fit, and?????all the time you?????re walking in them?????toning. Wear the FitFlop Supertboot short with skinny jeans, a skirt or tights all season long. Put a pair on and get a workout whilst walking. What is so clever about such fitness footwear is the fact they combine fitness along with health benefits but for these boots look fantastic. They are various colours and styles available to suit every age and really no one would ever know these kinds of boots were fitness boots at all.

So, as we are wanting more and more from our products these days, fitness shoes and boots such as FitFlop boots really fit the bill in this ever demanding world.

As we all know in this current economic climate we have to work that little bit harder (and smarter) to get new business or build on relationships with existing customers. So, every opportunity we have to present ourselves or get in front of customers must be taken. Below are a couple of tips which we have found quite simple, yet effective by using a Folding Inserting machine in our mailing room. Don’t worry if you don’t mail in large volumes, you can get a Folder Inserter that’s cost effective for just a few 100 items per week.

1) A Folder Inserter is an integral part of any mailing room, you’ll save time and money just by having one
2) You can include a mail piece with existing mail such as invoices or statements advertising your other services/goods. This is made really easy with a Folder Inserter
3) Once you have your Folder Inserter it can be used for sending out mail shots, newsletters or periodicals.
4) Combine your Folder Inserter with a franking machine and the savings on your post will also add up

What does the Folder Inserter do?

Its simple, it takes a pile of letters or mailers, folds them up in the required format and then inserts them into the envelope for you. Easy!

The type of machine you will need will mainly depend on the volume of your mail.

Eden Ostrich World is pleased to announce their festive themed programme of events to occupy even the most excited child this Christmas.

When visiting Eden Ostrich World over the festive period families will be able to experience Christmas themed areas and activities including a craft table where visitors can make a Christmas mask or perhaps colour in a picture and they can even make a Christmas decoration to be displayed on the Eden Ostrich World tree.

The Christmas themed program of events will take place on the 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 22nd and 23rd of December and is the perfect way to start the Christmas holidays, both young and old!
Eden Ostrich World is a family run business hosting a working farm and visitors centre, which opened to the public in 1998. Diversification came about due to the dramatic changes within the agricultural industry: as it became more difficult to survive whilst farming new ideas started to emerge and after several years planning we created and opened our doors to the public as Eden Ostrich World.
Situated in the middle of the Eden Valley, we couldn’t ask for a more magnificent setting, with the River Eden running straight through our site, it allows customers to take in the views and have a wander down by the river! It is classed as a Site of Special Scientific Interest due to the different varieties of birds and wildlife.

Their aim is to offer bags of fun and Lake District things to do as well as an educational day, not only learning about the ostrich, from incubation and hatching through to being fully grown, but to give people an insight into modern day farming. They also host playgrounds, a tea room and a very reasonable gift shop, as well as the Hayloft Gallery which is packed full of unusual gifts ??“ a Cumbria attraction for the whole family.

For more information on the festive events and for further information on this Lake District attraction, visit http://www.ostrich-world.com.

Jamaica is situated in the centre of the Caribbean, between 17.5 degrees and 18.5 degrees north latitude and 76.5 degrees and 78.5 degrees west longitude. Cuba is 90 miles north.

Jamaica is the third largest of the Caribbean Islands. Cuba is the largest with the second place taken by Hispaniola which contains the countries of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Jamaica is the largest English-speaking Island in the Caribbean, measured at one hundred and forty six miles long and fifty one miles wide and occupying an area of 4,400 square miles.

The population of Jamaica is just over two and a half million with high concentrations in the cities and surroundings, especially Kingston, the capital. Most visitors fly into Montego Bay as the North Coast is home to most of the beautiful beaches and other famous visitor attractions, like Dunn’s River Falls.

It is said that Columbus described Jamaica as “a land of hills and valleys” and crumpled a piece of paper to demonstrate its topography. Almost half of Jamaica is over a thousand feet above sea level and about forty square miles are above five thousand feet.

The mountainous character of Jamaica creates a wide range of micro-climates. The northeast winds blow regularly throughout the year. During the day, the sea breeze blows onshore and at night, the land breeze blows off- shore. During the American winter season, cold fronts may affect Jamaica, producing very strong cold winds, rain, and a change in wind direction from the North.

There is little seasonal change in average daily temperatures in the lower regions of Jamaica where the majority of the population resides. Readings at St. George’s College Station, Kingston:
???	July Average Low at 75.1 degrees Fahrenheit, Average High at 90.7 degrees Fahrenheit
???	January Average Low at 69.1 degree Fahrenheit, Average High at 86.7 degrees Fahrenheit

Temperatures are ten to twenty degrees Fahrenheit cooler in the highlands, but the summits of the Blue Mountains have seen light frosts on winter nights.

Higher than average rainfall occurs during September to October and May to June. The major dry period is from January to March. The average annual rainfall of 77.1 inches is strongly influenced by the terrain. The northeast of the island receives the most rain. Areas of the Western end also receive high rainfall.

Daily winds develop along the coasts with great regularity and have greater climatic influence than seasonal variations. Typically, the sea breeze commences in the morning, reaches its maximum velocity of about 20 knots at midday, and then gradually subsides in the afternoon, when they often produce afternoon showers in the interior.

Visitors will not be disappointed by the variety on this luscious island, from sun-kissed white sand beaches to rivers and waterfalls, to mountains and valleys in the interior. There are lots of different types of accommodation to choose from including hotels, Jamaica Villas, and Jamaica apartment rentals. There is so much to see and do in Jamaica including visiting the Island??™s best beaches at Silver Sands where you will find fantastic places to stay including Silver Sands Villas and cottages. Silver Sands is located on Jamaica’s famous North Coast, midway between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.

Buying clothing that looks good but is also hard wearing and appealing to children isn??™t always that easy.

The clothing brands specifically created for children really have got it right. Many have created the right brand name, a catchy name that children will remember. They have brightly coloured branding and maybe a quirky logo. Tags on the clothes are tactile and of course, most importantly, the clothes are fashionable, colourful and exciting.

Children are becoming more fashion conscious but do we really want our children to follow the main stream look, copying others are school and looking the same as the next child? Through the rest of their growing up we try to make their personalities grow and for them to be an individual. Dressing children can sometimes be stressful but if they like the clothes and they are fun, it makes it much easier for parents.

Some of the latest brands to be popular with both children and grownups are the following. Both being European brands and centred on fun, colour and durability:

Molo Clothing
The Molo kids and Molo baby clothing collection is becoming more and more popular in the UK. A Danish brand, Molo kids and baby clothing is always fun, unique and fantastic quality. Mismatch of patterns and colours, layering and fun prints make this collection definitely stand out from the ‘designer crowd’!

Molo??™s philosophy is that when kids are free to express their creativity through their clothing they gain self-esteem and confidence. Molo kids clothes fit and allow freedom of movement, while the rich details allow for freedom of expression. Molo kids clothing is unique and unpredictable. For Molo, designer kidswear has to be a mix of everyday durability and funky. The clothes are full of fun; quirky details set within the context of the clean and ???raw??™ design traditions of northern European children’s clothing.

Molo kids clothes are designed with the child in mind and not the adult, their quirky outlandish designs help children express themselves freely. Molo kids clothes are not the type of clothes that should be saved for special occasions but should be worn every day. Children, especially younger children, will test the durability and quality of their clothing to the limit and the Molo kids and Molo baby clothes collection is designed with this in mind. Molo kids clothes combine comfort and practicality, and they are unique too. Molo kids clothing provides a quality range of vibrantly colourful clothing for cool kids.

Mayoral Children??™s Clothes
Mayoral clothes is the leading brand for children’s fashion in Spain. Many parents throughout the whole of Europe love Mayoral baby clothing for its great quality, value for money and its fantastic range of accessories that finish off the Mayoral clothing designs beautifully. It??™s all about the whole look, not just the actually piece of clothing.

The Mayoral clothing collection for tweens is great for boys and girls that develop their own style and taste and want some individual great value pieces. Dressy, comfortable and great quality outfits for older boys and girls. It is found that many customers buy the Mayoral baby clothing but are still buying it right through to the Junior collection years later.
