As a result of the monetary change in Cyprus to the Euro January 2008, all companies in Cyprus whose share capital was denominated in Cypriot pounds were required to convert their share capital into euro. They were required to pass a resolution in a general meeting to change their share capital to euro and suitably amend their Memorandum and Articles of Association. This is fairly straightforward and can be talked through by Cyprus financial services advisors. Notice of the change must be filed with the Registrar of Companies, who has agreed to waive any fee for the registration. The conversion to euro must be filed with the Registrar of Companies latest by the end of 2008. If any company is late, the Registrar will not accept any resolutions unless it is accompanied with a Court order authorising the conversion. Cyprus is an attractive place for direct investment and setting up. Indicative of this are the tables with new registrations set-out below.
The strategic location of the island, its excellent climate, the well developed infrastructure and the plentiful supply of high quality, well trained labour are some of the advantages Cyprus has to offer. In addition, the favourable tax regime makes Cyprus an ideal location for manufacturers, especially those with Middle East and north African export activities. Investors aim in maximising after tax return on investment. Therefore, investment structures which have the least tax leakage are preferred by investors and are recommended by the advisors. As such, a Cypriot investment vehicle can in many cases collect income, which is a charge against high tax income.
Foreign withholding tax is eliminated or reduced under double tax treaties or under EU directives. The rate of tax in Cyprus is low. The income can then be repatriated in any form the investor wishes without any Cypriot withholding tax. This investment vehicle is suitable both for EU inbound or outbound investments. There are no investment activities that are inappropriate for the Cypriot tax environment. However, there are investment activities which are ideally suited to Cypriot tax environment such as: holding companies, finance companies, royalty companies, investment funds, south Europe, Middle East, central and Eastern Europe head office operations European enlargement and the accession of Cyprus opened up a new gate to investors. Cyprus is no longer just the traditionally strong link of investments in and out of Central and Eastern Europe and Russia, but it is also a strong connecting link of investments in or out of the EU through financial services advisors.

Modular buildings are constructed from prefabricated components made in a factory.
Modular buildings can be constructed for temporary, semi permanent or permanent purposes. As they are quickly and easily constructed, they are very well suited to provide temporary emergency housing or when disasters occur such a fires for example.
As modular buildings are constructed in a factory, the weather does not affect the construction time which means a more accurate and faster completion date is achievable unlike a traditional construction site where the weather and other factors often mean a building is delayed. Even electrical wiring is done in the factory.
Modular buildings are either constructed from a single section or in the case of larger structures, they are made using several sections. These structures can be ordered from a company’s standard range or they can be made to specifically designed and built to the needs of the end user/company. Once completed, the modular building is shipped to its location where foundations will have been layed and these foundations can be temporary or permanent depending on what the need is for the building.
Modular buildings are almost unrecognisable from those available 10 or 15 years ago. They are far more complex and are of far better quality with many incorporating state of art technologies and materials. In these tough economic times, the ability to save a great deal of money on office space, extra classrooms and temporary health care centres for example is crucial. Modular buildings fulfil all the criteria required whilst being quickly and cheaply erected.
From environmental perspectives, modular and portable buildings have advantages over traditional construction. The manufacturing process creates far less waste than traditional construction and can be built cost effectively but using materials that are both environmentally friendly in the construction process and for fuel saving when occupied. As mentioned earlier, not all modular buildings are permanent. Due to this, second hand modular and portable buildings are available. When purchased, these pre owned structures embody even more environmental effectiveness. The embodied energy required to manufacture a modular building is transportable as the embodied energy is locked within the fabric of the building.
Therefore the energy contained within pre-owned modular buildings can be transported and relocated to another site. In traditional buildings this is largely lost when they are no longer required and demolished, even when the materials are re-cycled. However, with modular and portable buildings the embodied energy can be relocated along with the modules to another site.

There are 5 main types of hot water cylinder available. Each with different operating methods and for different purposes.
Unvented
Unvented Cylinders work off the mains pressure water, and therefore use the water mains pressurised system to move the domestic hot water around the property, and so eliminates the need for a header tank in the loft.
Unvented Cylinders offer higher hot water flow rates, and are therefore able to provide higher water pressure for showers, baths etc.???? As an Unvented Cylinder does not require a feeder tank, this frees up valuable space in the loft area, and also gives you the option to site the Cylinder anywhere you want thus freeing up further space in your airing cupboard.
Unvented Cylinders are generally manufactured out of top quality stainless steel, this ensures long life and durability, and Unvented Cylinders can also carry a manufacturer’s guarantee of up to 25 years. E.g. the Gledhill cylinders range. Other Manufacturer’s guarantees may vary.

Borwick Fold Cottages are situated in Hawkshead, near Ambleside at the heart of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, high above a tranquil, pastoral valley, with superb panoramic mountain views. Surrounded by fells, lakes, tarns, woodland, ancient hamlets and villages and with its land managed for wildlife, it offers a superb base for many outdoor activities, and in which to unwind. Our visitors return again and again.
Three rather special Ambleside cottages have been imaginatively converted from the barn and stables of our 17th century farmhouse. The Hawkshead cottages are set above a quiet country lane [National Grid Reference: 33420,49970] on the edge of Black Fell [a ???Wainwright??™ fell] close to Tarn Hows, near Hawkshead.
Each of the Hawkshead cottages has its own individual character and is centrally heated for all year round comfort. Benches outside the cottages and on the fell side, as well as the al-fresco dining area and barbecue, make an ideal location in which to absorb the peace and tranquillity of the area whilst enjoying the views and abundant wildlife.
